Chemical Peels

At L'amour Medaesthetics we use medical grade chemical peels that effectively exfoliate dead and dull skin cells to reveal the fresh, youthful skin that is just under the surface. 

There are various types of chemical peels, each developed for specific skin conditions, such as fine lines, acne, skin texture, and tone. Our chemical peels have downtime ranging from 10 hours to 7 days. Chemical peels can be performed on the face, neck, chest, hands, arms, and legs.

What to Expect:

During your chemical peel treatment, you will be seated comfortably in a reclined position. Your L'amour Medaesthetics Practitioner will help you chose the best chemical peel for your skin. The chemical peel will then be applied. The process takes about 30 minutes.

Your skin will feel tight the next 24 hours after treatment. Then you will begin peeling around the mouth and nose. In the following couple of days, your entire face will peel. We recommend doing chemical peels on Wednesdays so that most of your peeling will be done before work or school the following Monday! Keep in mind that areas aside from the face will take longer to heal.
